Isaac has been trying to drag us to this little pond all month. He's determined to catch a catfish there! Finally one Monday night after a very convincing argument about enjoying the beautifies of the earth, we went as a family. The girls loved feeding the ducks and Bonnie loved all the birds! It really was a very lovely place to be for the evening. It was all peaceful and quiet when all of the run around of summer just gets to be too much. There was a lot to see and enjoy as we walked around. Khora was determined to catch one of the grass hoppers that had infested a very suspisious looking bush with lots of red spots all over the leaves. I have to say I was a little nervous and had my eye out for rashes - no rashes!! Even with my grasshopper thing - I still felt bad when she had quit trying and move along the path to get back to the boys and the van so we could get home.
